Meet The Authors
David Horgan
David Horgan is an award-winning medical educator, promoter, filmmaker, and writer.
His internationally distributed medical education titles were awarded the Freddie Award for
excellence in interactive education by the American Medial Association.
His other writer/producer honors include a Silver Cindy, a Bronze Cindy, and being named
a finalist for the American Medical Association/Time Inc. Award for his
Health Education Cardio Vascular Disease interactive education program.
Horgan's twenty-year experience includes writing and producing educational
materials for elders and their families. He has produced more than 100 interactive
medical CD-ROM programs as well as national broadcast work with MTV and VH1.
He has also produced the opening for the television show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,
featuring Will Smith, on NBC.
Horgan currently lives in Western Massachusetts with his wife, three sons, and mother-in-law.
Shira Block

free-lance writer and author, life coach, and gifted communicator, captivates audiences with her intelligent humor, clarity, and ability to pinpoint problems and devise effective solutions. Since 1991, she has taught thousands the art of effective communicating, interpersonal interacting, improving family dynamics, and effective business writing and communicating. Her workshops and personal coaching are results oriented, leaving participants with a clear path of what to do.
She has published two other books: The Way Home and Step-by-Step Miracles: A practical guide to achieving your dreams.
She currently lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband and daughter.
